”GUERRILLA” ArT on Bridge St - Finished but may return

Sadly the disruption on Bridge St continues and we have now lost out beloved Red Gallery, Design Store & Cafe! You can still find examples of my work in Victus Cafe, Sublime Cafe and Bridge St Studios and from Monday 14 September, for 2 weeks, my Road Cone sculpture is featuring in a MakeshiftSpaces window. I ( Abbie of IOStudio) placed sculptures in random businesses on Bridge Street, Nelson from December 5, 2025, for 6 weeks. They may have been obvious or hidden in more obscure places. The idea was for people to interact with them, post on social media and go into a draw to win a mini sculpture.

It was about sharing the joy of art and helping bring people to Bridge St which was, and still is, struggling with the impacts of the road works.

I gave away several small sculptures and some of the pieces remain in Bridge St locations - because they love hanging out there.
